Made in New York City by the Souré Company, which was in business from 1942-1969. In keeping with the company’s heavily embellished style, wooden beads and imitation straw flowers create a whimsical pattern on the front of this woven clutch. While a scant few beads are missing, it does not detract from the overall look of the bag. It must have been truly loved to be in such great condition at 70 years old; it even still has its original mirror in the original paper sleeve!
